The voices of the track

From the first fall to the first match:
the crew tells its story.

What I love about derby:
It's the mix of adrenaline, strategy, and self-overcoming, supported by an inclusive community where everyone finds their place — whether on the track or otherwise. In the end, it's a sport that allows me to be strong, vulnerable, competitive, and completely myself.
 Klara Mike
Jammer - pivot - blocker
What I love about derby:
It's a sport that combines strategy, contact, and speed while maintaining control. It's a truly complete sport that doesn't require having great athletic predispositions because everyone can find their place on the track, no matter their sports background 🙂
 Bad Wolf
 Blocker
What I love about derby:
First, the spirit of camaraderie that reigns among the players of the same team but also sometimes with the opponents. Then, I love the chaos during the matches that we gradually learn to master as well as the self-overcoming that this sport requires 😊
 Pixie Pocalypse
Jammer
What I love about derby:
the badass and unique side of the sport, its exceptional community, and above all, the fact that it's both a space where you're free to let loose and push your limits, and a safe space where creativity, diversity, and eccentricity are welcomed and celebrated.
Lawly Punk
Jammer
What I love about derby:
I fell in love with this sport that I discovered and have been practicing since 2019. No matter your age or level, you can always find your place. I've never heard anyone regret starting roller derby. Join our team and discover the magic of this sport for yourself!
Showoff
Jammer
What I love about derby:
By committing to the league, I found a sport that allows me to surpass myself physically and mentally.
I also discovered beautiful people and had great moments.

No, we teach you the basics through the bootcamp (from October to December) and then you continue to evolve with us.
But if you already have some basics, that's a plus!

To register, depending on your skating level, you must go through the bootcamp that takes place every year from October
to December.
Practices take place twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) from 7 to 9 PM. During this time, we teach the basics of skating as well as derby. After that, in January, the regular derby season begins where practices are more intense in order to prepare for the match season that takes place between June and September.

We are recruiting until the end of December. Starting in January, it will depend on your skating level as we will begin our practices for the upcoming match season (from June to September).

Nos pratiques sont le mardi et le jeudi au Salésien, de 19 h à 21 h.

In summer, they take place at the Julien Ducharme Center, always at the same times.

The average price of equipment for beginners is $500 (skates, protective gear) but this is very variable. There is a possibility to buy some things second-hand but we strongly advise against buying a helmet second-hand.

The cost of travel for matches is variable, it all depends on the location, the time period, etc.
